Oversee all aspects of IT. Specify, design and implement wireless network. Oversee wide area network deployment.

  • Manage IT expansion budget of $120,000. Using expert analysis and planning to ensure the company receives highest quality equipment for network growth while staying within budget.

  • Plan and manage implementation of ISP contingency plan to replace obsolete network infrastructure.

  • Research and present three alternative network systems for startup wireless Internet provider.

     

    10/00 - 10/01 Director of Project Management L7 Inc.

    Define company methodology to ensure consistent process of every client engagement. Develop company wide training program to implement process. Serve as primary contact between clients and company.

  • Developed "Adaptive Product Development Process" (APDP).

  • Created on-line training system to educate employees about APDP.

  • Lead team of 20 professionals to design, build, and support a comprehensive database application for a pharmaceutical reference laboratory company.

  • Direct change of L7's web based time tracking system. Analyze employee productivity and morale both before and after time sheet change. Determined that the new program was not complete and it requires more work to enter information. Recommended and implemented move to previous system saving eight hours per week of non billable time per employee and raised company wide morale.

  • Facilitate communication and agreement between clients and programmers by translating clients wants into viable and achievable goals for developers. This ensured a project that was on time and on budget, and most importantly a satisfied client.

     

    05/00 - 09/00 Private Label Development Manager Free Internet.com

    Responsible for the coordination of efforts required to win and deliver client projects. Provide technical support and project management services from the time that the client agrees to move into private label design discussions between the Marketing Team and the client. Coordinate between Engineering, CPC, Product Marketing, Sales or Business Development, and the Client to ensure that all parties are aware of delivery issues and client requirements.

  • Built the "Private Label Wizard" program designed to improve user interface and over all look and feel of software package for clients.

  • Analyzed the process and developed a unique system for product review. This resulted in a savings of over 200 man-hours per private label client companies.

  • Primary contact for AT&T on "i495" client program.

     

    02/99 - 05/00 Producer US WEST Creative Services

    Lead and manage multiple, large-scale product application and deployment projects across departments and locations. Provide cross-functional leadership and serve as key point of contact for the development and delivery of product. Team with the Account Management to ensure overall customer satisfaction with product development and delivery.

  • Lead team to develop SanMar's Web site and database backend. This project included the main site, SanMar.com, as well as over 1,000 templated reseller sites (Custom Web Sites).

  • Team won the prestigious Silver PPAI Web Award for design of the SanMar Custom Web Sites.

  • With the merger of Qwest and U S WEST, developed a new Web site presence bringing together the best of both. There were significant challenges with combining primarily the national, product-oriented nature of Qwest with the regional, service-based business of U S WEST. Due to legal constraints, the site also had to be sensitive to the location of the user, as not all products and services are available in all locations.

  • Produced style guide for Qwest - U S WEST merged Web site.

  • Lead team to produce luxury box system for the Pepsi Center.

     

    05/96 - 05/98 President interNetworking, Ltd.

    Responsible for the software development, process, and staff. Establish development objectives and project timelines. Ensure the quality development of new products and services, back-end automation and support tools.

  • Started the first independent Internet Service Provider in Montana.

  • Specified Web hosting systems and infrastructure.
